The morning in
Granada is best spent walking around the city centre, in the
cathedral area, or along the
Carrera del Darro and
Paseo de los Tristes. When you get hungry, grab something to eat or drink in one of the terrace bars at the feet of the
Alhambra. Another option is to walk down
Elvira street, where the
Albayzín neighbourhood starts and wander among the tea shops, small 'tiendas' and bazaars that make you feel like you're in
Morocco.
TRIP Granada - Cordoba
The most important area in
Córdoba is the city centre. A walk around the
Judería is essential, with its charming houses and small alleys such as
Flores Street or
Hoguera Street. Cross the many squares, like
Plaza del Potro and
Plaza de Capuchinos, and experience the entire city centre. Another must is the
Córdoba Mosque, the most famous monument in the city. At sunset go down to the
Guadalquivir river and delight in the evening colours over the
Roman Bridge. Take the opportunity to taste the tapas and typical local dishes like
salmorejo and
flamenquines.
